Our Enoteca Il Cardo opened in 2015 in the center of Panzano in Chianti - a town bustling with activity, and home to many great names in Tuscany's wines and food scene, such as its renowned butchers, and the Unione Viticoltori di Panzano.
Our small wine bar is dedicated entirely to great food and wine. We offer 32 wines by the glass - or even just for tasting, and a dynamic menu of Italian specialties and traditional products to accompany them - all in an ambiance that is tasteful, relaxing, and friendly.
The Chianti Cooking School opened its new kitchen, just across from our wine bar, in 2017 - a custom-built island designed with our small cooking groups in mind. Here, participants will spend a few hours with one of our professional chefs, cooking a full menu made of traditional dishes.
The results will later form a complete meal to enjoy at our enoteca, accompanied by a selection of regional wines.
Those who wish to further explore the region's wines and olive oils may add the tasting experience option, which will take them on a discovery of a selection of wines and olive oils from the Panzano area, as well as balsamic vinegars from Modena.
